We purchased our farm with our 3 boys in mind thus the name "3 Boys Organics" Creston has proven to be an excellent growing place for producing great large garlic seed. Crops Our farm consists of 20 acres on which we have come to concentate on garlic seed as our main crop. We have been growing garlic as a certified crop for five years now and are entering our sixth year. We also grow alfalfa as a forage crop. Our Goals Our boys are full partners in this adventure from planting to harvesting and marketing. They enjoy the one on one contact with our customers who return year after year. The fun focal point of garlic year always includes our participation in the Hills Garlic Festival, where our middle son Brendan serves up taste tests to any and all who will participate. Our oldest son Jeremy has won 1st place in our local fall fair 4 years running with his garlic entry. He is the field boss and challenges the workers to keep up with his steady, fast pace. Christopher is the helper, filling bags and peeling for drying crystals. It continues to be a learning experience in business and healthy living for all of us.
